The verdant and tranquil nature of Padma Resort Ubud is highly suitable as a venue to do a honeymoon photo session. As Treeah and Ben found out during their intimate honeymoon photoshoot, the lush surroundings of the resort offer plenty of beautiful settings.
Nestled within a river valley, the 149-room resort features well-appointed accommodation, a heated infinity pool with panoramic views, and the luxury of being close to nature. As newlyweds, Treeah and Ben decided to come to Bali and book a honeymoon holiday at Padma Resort Ubud. The American couple contacted Gusmank to capture their once-in-a-lifetime holiday as a couple.
Deciding on the locations was not hard because Padma Resort Ubud features plenty of beautiful spots for intimate honeymoon photoshoots. We started at the split gateway of the resort, an architectural feature which uniquely belongs to Bali. The resort’s reception and its surrounding landscape also accommodate plenty of lush opportunities to shoot the American couple.
The resort’s advantageous location on top of a hill also gave us plenty of panoramic opportunities. We asked Treeah and Ben to wear light-coloured clothing to match with the green natural backdrop. Last but not least, we captured the beautiful couple at Bamboo Nest, the resort’s sustainable cocoon where weddings and events are usually held. The tactile bamboo weaving and other-worldly shape created a highly unusual backdrop that resulted in memorable images.
