Babylonstoren Cape Town Family Photography of Mayline’s family. At the end of 2018, I got a chance to visit South Africa, one of my bucket list countries. Together with my girlfriend, I visited 2 big cities in South Africa, Johannesburg, and Cape Town. Who doesn’t know Cape Town? A coming-together of cultures, cuisines, and landscapes, there’s nowhere quite like Cape Town, a singularly beautiful city crowned by the magnificent Table Mountain National Park.
In the second week, we were in Cape Town, we visited the infamous Table Mountain National Park. At the park, I was literally jumped when someone called my name. In Africa? Yes! “Are you Gusmank right?” She said.
She was Mayline, I knew her from Flytographer when she booked me for a photoshoot in Bali, unfortunately, she had to cancel the trip because of the mountain situation in Bali. So we only know each other online but she remembers my face.

Long story short, we planned this Babylonstoren Cape Town family photography. With a history dating back to 1692, Babylonstoren is one of the best-preserved plantations in the Cape Town region. It’s an eight-acre farm that features an incredible array of fruits, veggies, indigenous plants, livestock, bees, and even a prickly pear maze. It was the most beautiful farm I ever visited, their prickly pear maze is so pretty.
