Sunrise Prewedding Photography in Ubud Bali. The prewedding / engagement session is probably one of the best ways to get to know each other (photographer & clients) before spending 8 or more hours on the wedding day. These sessions are about the couple and how they fell in love.
Most of my photography sessions are held about 2 hours before the sun sets, but what about when you want to shoot in the Ubud area? We probably need to shoot on sunrise instead. Shooting a sunrise prewedding photography in Ubud Bali is not much different than how I would shoot a couple during sunset. The light was beautiful and completely worth it. We have so many spot option to shoot in Ubud Bali, some of my favorite spots is Tegalalang Rice Terrace.
Tegallalang Rice Terrace is popular for its magnificent views of terraced rice paddies which are traditionally still using The Subak system (The ancient Balinese water management method or irrigation). Tegalalang Ubud rice terrace is one of the most visited and photographed terrace farming landscape in Bali, Indonesia.
The other spot I love to shoot is the place where I grew up, my hometown, Tampaksiring. Tampaksiring is a small village about 18km northeast of Ubud with a large and important temple, Tirta Empul, and the most impressive ancient site in Bali, Gunung Kawi. It sits in the Pakerisan Valley, and the entire area has been nominated for Unesco recognition. One of my fav here is having trash the dress session in the Pakerisan or Petanu river Tampak Siring, a stone-paved path leads down into the valley of the sacred river, with stunning rice field views on the way.
