Ubud vacation photography of Steven and Ashleigh. If you ever heard Ubud, crossed your mind that Ubud is Culture. Can be said that Ubud is Bali’s cultural heart. This area is located in the cool mountains, just one hour’s drive north of the airport and the resorts of southern Bali, this traditional country town is the home of the Balinese Royal family and a flourishing arts center.
Most of Bali’s museums and galleries are centered in Ubud, but culture and history-rich Bali is peppered with museums and galleries. Many couples now opted for Ubud vacation photography as they wanted to have a backdrop that shows Bali. We did Steven and Ashleigh’s session at Ubud Tegalalang rice terraces, famous for its unique irrigation system created in the 8th century by a holy man named Resi Markandeya. Since rice needs to grow in water year-round, these terraces allow water to flow continuously down from one rice field into the other fields, keeping the rice wet year-round. This ancient Subak system is still used by a shared local community here at Ubud rice terrace. Unfortunately, the rice paddies were harvested on the day of shooting. I took them to other the rice fields in Ubud that still have paddies for the shooting.
