Stephanie and her beautiful family chose Bali for a relaxed and meaningful holiday, and we turned one of their evenings into a warm sunset family session. We started the photoshoot at their private villa in AYANA Resort, where the soft afternoon light filled the garden and pool area perfectly. The villa setting gave us intimate and calm moments before heading to the beach.
After that, we moved to Jimbaran Beach, which is only a short drive away. Timing is everything for family photography in Bali, and we always recommend shooting around 4 to 5 PM. During this golden hour, the sunlight becomes softer, the sky turns beautifully blue with warm tones, and the heat is much more comfortable for children.
Their outfits were perfectly coordinated. The soft blue dress worn by Stephanie matched beautifully with the ocean and sky, while the light tones of the father and children created a clean and timeless look. When colors are harmonious like this, the images feel natural and effortless.
Jimbaran Beach is one of the best locations in Bali for family sessions. The tides are usually calmer, the shoreline is wide and safe for kids to play, and the sunsets are consistently stunning. The open space allows children to move freely, run on the sand, and simply be themselves. Those genuine interactions always create the most meaningful photographs.
This session felt joyful and relaxed. From playful moments lifting their son in the air to quiet walks along the shoreline holding hands, everything unfolded naturally. That’s the beauty of a family session in Bali — no rush, just light, ocean breeze, and real connection.
If you are planning a family holiday in Bali and would like to capture timeless memories, a Jimbaran Beach family session at sunset is always a perfect choice.
