This family photo session at Jumeirah Bali features a lovely family beautifully captured by our photographer Satria in mid-2023, shortly after the resort’s opening. Set along the Uluwatu coastline, Jumeirah Bali provided a calm and elegant backdrop for a relaxed family photoshoot.
“Let kids be kids” is always our approach during family photo sessions, as it creates a fun and natural experience for everyone. Daniel’s family session took place across Jumeirah Bali’s expansive grounds, which span 11 hectares of tropical landscape and beachfront. Styled as a Hindu-Javanese water palace, the resort features flowing fountains, fish ponds, and tiered swimming pools overlooking the ocean, making it easy to fall in love with the surroundings.
The family photo session began in the morning to take advantage of the soft glow and beautiful natural light. We kept the poses simple and natural, focusing on walking, running, and candid interactions. There was no pressure to force smiles or hold awkward poses. Some of the most meaningful images are often captured when you’re not thinking about the camera at all.
Fun fact: Daniel’s daughter really likes the buggy car.
