It was wonderful for Eka to photograph the Matty family again for their second family session in Bali. This time, their family photos took us to the lush surroundings of Rimba at Ayana Bali, creating a completely different atmosphere from their previous session.
A Second Family Session in Bali
Returning for a second session gave us the opportunity to capture the family in a more relaxed and playful way. With their little one growing and changing, these photographs become another chapter in their Bali memories.
For this Rimba at Ayana Bali family photo session, we kept the photographs natural and focused on the connection between the three of them. There were plenty of candid moments, from cuddling and walking together to playful interactions between mother and daughter.
The Tropical Setting at Rimba at Ayana Bali
Rimba is part of the Ayana Bali resort complex, offering a more lush, jungle-inspired side of the Ayana experience. Rimba provides a beautiful natural backdrop without needing much styling.
The open grassy areas worked beautifully for wider family portraits, while the surrounding greenery gave the more intimate moments a softer, more secluded feeling. The tropical landscape also adds that unmistakable Bali atmosphere without distracting from the family itself.
Capturing the Little Moments
Some of the sweetest photographs from the session came from the simplest interactions. A little girl being lifted into the air, a family walking together, or a quiet moment between mother and daughter can often say more than a perfectly posed portrait.
