A Traditional Balinese Outfit Photoshoot in Bali is always special, especially when the couple truly embraces the culture behind it. Victoria and Chris traveled all the way from the United States, and they have a beautiful tradition of their own, wearing traditional outfits from every country they visit. On their previous trip, they wore Japanese attire in Japan. This time, Bali was their choice.
When they contacted me, they already had a clear vision. They wanted an authentic Balinese look, not just for the costume but for the entire experience. We arranged everything for them, from professional makeup to a rental studio that provided carefully selected traditional outfits. The preparation started very early in the morning, as the makeup process required time to perfect every detail.
We began the session at Beratan Temple Lake before sunrise. The calm water, soft morning mist, and quiet atmosphere created a serene backdrop that perfectly complemented their elegant attire. The traditional fabrics, gold details, and hand-held fan stood out beautifully against the peaceful lake.
After finishing at the lake, we continued the photoshoot at Sangeh Monkey Forest. The tall trees and historic temple structures added depth and character to the second part of the session. The natural forest setting enhanced the richness of the Balinese outfits while keeping the overall feel timeless and refined.
A Traditional Balinese Outfit Photoshoot in Bali is not only about dressing up. It is about honoring the place, its culture, and creating meaningful memories through thoughtful preparation and carefully chosen locations.
