A magical morning travel photography session in Bali with Tim and Esther unfolded against the breathtaking Mount Agung view in Sidemen. We started early, when the air is still cool and the light slowly spills across the valley, creating a calm and intimate atmosphere. The session took place in Sidemen, East Bali, a location that always feels grounded, peaceful, and deeply connected to nature.
Just a few weeks before the photoshoot, Tim and Esther had gotten engaged. Initially, Tim reached out to us with plans for a proposal session, but sometimes love moves faster than planning. He couldn’t wait and ended up proposing in Labuan Bajo instead. While the moment itself was perfect, they didn’t have professional photographs to document it.
Wanting to preserve this new chapter properly, Tim contacted us again to plan an engagement session close to where they were staying. Their Airbnb, Hideout Bali, sits quietly within Sidemen’s lush landscape, making it the perfect base for an intimate morning shoot. Rather than recreating the proposal, the focus shifted to celebrating their connection, fresh from the excitement of saying yes.
We did a session at the rice field near the Hideout Bali, it’s located in Sidemen area. Thankfully the weather is quite clear, however the rice field at the view point sadly just been harvested. But we still got a good images still despite the circumstances.
East Bali area is an untouched location of Bali, not so many tourist visiting this area. It’s where the highest mountain of Bali, Mount Agung, lies tall. You can see a view of Mount Agung from any area of East bali, but sometimes the mount is covered by clouds.
