Magical morning photography at Tegalalang Rice Terrace of Alyssa and Kevin. Alyssa is a film photographer based in California that happens to have their honeymoon in Bali. Actually, our first plan was to do the shoot at Tukad Cepung waterfall, however, the day before the photoshoot they got a bike accident in Ubud. Kevin had a wound on his feet that made him need to avoid water, so instead of going to the waterfall, we went to the Tegalalang Rice Terrace.
Bali have abundant beautiful rice terrace, most of them located far from Denpasar, like Tabanan, Karangasem, or Gianyar. For me as a Bali photographer, this Tegalalang rice terraces located in Ubud is the best for photography. If you come here in the morning, the sun rays reach the valley you can witness pure magic as the sun peaks through the top of the trees and lights up the mist. It’s a natural effect create by nature without you need to edit it.
