Arun and Manpreet traveled from the UK with one clear vision for their engagement session. They wanted something completely different from home. Less grey skies, more tropical warmth. More green, more light, more Bali.
For their Rice Fields Engagement Session, I recommended starting early at Tegalalang Rice Terraces, followed by Blangsinga Waterfall at sunrise. Morning light in Bali is soft and golden, and when it touches the layered rice fields, everything feels calm and cinematic.
At the terraces, their look was more formal and elegant for their rice fields engagement session. Manpreet wore a halter neck dress with an orange floral pattern that stood beautifully against the endless green background. The tones complemented the landscape without overpowering it. Arun chose a cream suit paired with a soft blue shirt, adding subtle color while keeping everything refined and balanced. Together, they looked polished yet effortless as they walked through the terraces hand in hand.
After the rice fields, we continued to Blangsinga Waterfall. For this part, they changed into a more relaxed outfit. Arun wore a white t-shirt and shorts, while Manpreet chose a white dress that moved naturally with the breeze and mist from the waterfall. The setting shifted from structured terraces to raw nature, giving their engagement gallery a beautiful contrast.
The result was an engagement session that felt elegant, tropical, and full of movement. A perfect combination of Bali’s lush rice fields and dramatic waterfall landscapes, just as they imagined.
