Getting Married in Bali – Becoming Bali Brides and Groom by Eka

That’s where a skilled destination wedding photographer becomes your visual storyteller. In this case, my associate photographer, Eka, had the privilege of documenting Vanessa and Humphrey’s journey as they became Bali bride and groom.

High atop the Uluwatu cliffs, Vanessa and Humphrey chose the stunning Tirtha Uluwatu glass stage as their wedding venue. This iconic location is a haven for celebrations and weddings, offering a perfect blend of romantic ambiance and breathtaking backdrops.

The day unfolded like a dream, starting with the excitement of wedding preparations, Vanessa and her bridesmaids getting glam, and Humphrey with his best man sharing pre ceremony jitters.

Eka skillfully captured the essence of the tea ceremony, a beautiful ritual that symbolizes respect and unity between families. As you can see at the images below:

The tension then built as Vanessa, a radiant bride in her wedding dress, walked down the aisle with her father towards Humphrey at the glass stage. As the ceremony began, Vanessa and Humphrey exchanged vows. Eka’s keen eye captured the emotion and joy in their eyes – a moment frozen in time that they’ll cherish for years to come.

With the ceremony complete, it was time to really let loose! Eka documented the wedding reception in all its vibrancy, friends and family raising a toast to the newlyweds, heartfelt speeches, and joyous laughter filling the air. The night turns into a super fun party under the starlit Bali sky, a perfect ending to a perfect day.
