Kamandalu Ubud Wedding of Seb and Avalon, our client travelled from the U.K.
“We met through mutual friends at the pub. I was sat having a pint and Avalon walked by and started chatting to my flatmates who she knew from university. We became close mates soon after.” – Seb
Seb & Avalon love going out for breakfast and walking. They do a lot of walking at nice parks or by a river, and through the suburbs. Sometimes after work, they stop off at the pub (often the pub where they first met) and have a drink together and chat about the day before making their way home to walk the dog ‘Pancho’. They are both interested in nature and the environment and well love another’s in each other’s company.
“It took a while for love to blossom at first. I think that that was because we were best friends and didn’t want to complicate things. We were friends for about a year prior to dating. During this time we got to really know one another and sealed an endearing and loving friendship. That was 12 years ago, and it’s been 11 years that we have been together. Seb asked me to marry him when we were in Paris, having a picnic under the Eiffel tower.” – Avalon
After all those romantic years, they decided to tie their knot with a destination wedding at Kamandalu Ubud, Bali. With Bali’s gorgeous scenery and luxurious villas, it’s often the dream destination for couples to hold destination weddings. Emulating a traditional Balinese village, this luxurious, serene resort set amid rice paddies and tropical forests is 6 km from the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary. Many have chosen to exchange their sacred vows on Balinese land – and that’s a choice you won’t be likely to regret.

“We love the way Gusmank captures the light and the way it gives the destination wedding photos such a happy bright and magical feeling. The way he captures couples looking so natural is also nice. The photos where he captures the environment and surrounds look magical.”
Congratulations on your Kamandalu Ubud Wedding!
