I first met Maudy and Jesse when shooting their proposal session in Bali. At that time I didn’t know that the bride is a famous celebrity in Indonesia. Because they love how their proposal photo turns out they wanted me to shoot their wedding in Jakarta and Bali. And I immediately said yes when the couple asked.
Maudy and Jesse met in Stanford University when she seek her master degree. After she finished her school, she got back to Indonesia, and few months later Jesse followed her and proposed her in Bali when they were on a holiday.

Maudy and Jesse, Six Senses Uluwatu Wedding is actually their reception after their traditional Javanese culture wedding in Maudy’s home in Jakarta. This reception was attended by their closest friends and relatives. It was also a highly fashionable day, with the couple and their wedding party elegant looks, some of their guests were also celebs, and a famous singer in Indonesia.
On her wedding day, Maudy wore a robe, two simple wedding gowns, and after party gown designed special for her by Hian Tjen. Hian Tjen is a famous high-end bridal designer from Indonesia. To complete the look, Maudy wore a jewellery from Mondial and her white Louboutin shoes. Jesse, wore a simple elegant tux from Wong Hang Taylor.
Before the dinner started the couple exchanged vows with at The Retreat Wedding area at Six Senses Uluwatu. Tea Rose Wedding, their wedding designer creating this amazing purple arch and lavender fields on the outdoor area. Their extravagant floral arch overlooked a scenic backdrop of the ocean.

They also added a touch of purple for their reception tables, complete with gold tableware. The tablescape included antique vase filled with purple flowers, purple candles, and centerpieces. Names and menu were written in gold calligraphy on white scrolls at each place setting.
