Wonderland Uluwatu Bali Wedding of Alex & James. If you notice that this gallery below are softer and grainier than most of my galleries because on this galleries 90% are taken by analog film camera. Although during this wedding I shoot hybrid, (film and digital) but I wanted to share the full film look on this wedding. Starting in mid 2023 I shoot a lot with film, just to have fun and wanted to slow down a little bit. By shooting film, I got to be more slow waiting until the right moment is coming before pressing my shooter. My curiosity is increasing since I can’t see the result until it developed. It’s like part of the magic, waiting for the photos.
Because of the restrictions of film, I would get fewer photographs in the end and have fewer opportunities to reshoot moments, this reason make me feels shooting film is more challenging.
More and more clients also asking for film photography since it gives more nostalgic feels on the images.
