Helen and Peter met 7.5 years ago during the first week of their professional School at the University of Toronto, they were both in pharmacy after finishing up their undergraduate degree.
“We bonded over our love for food and everything spicy. There is a little controversy over who approached who first, he says it’s me because I went up to introduce my self to him but it was at a meet and greet and everyone one was introducing themselves to each other. I think it’s him because he asked for my number first and eventually asked me out about a week later. Over the years we studied together and traveled to many beautiful places. In the summer of 2017 he proposed in our home city of Toronto, it was on this cliff that we were not supposed to be on, but he convinced me to sneak in and I was worried about the authorities catching us, everything worked out.”
