Shaded by tropical gardens and secreted behind ornate volcanic and limestone walls, Bale Kencana is surrounded by a tranquil pond and natural stone paving. The raised thatch-roofed gazebo provides an open-air venue to celebrate the bridal couple, with theatre-style seating for dinner guests directly in front.

When and how did you meet each other?
We met each other through mutual friends almost 4 years ago.
At the time, Jerry had just moved back to Canada from Asia (he left for Asia for work after university) and was invited to a party where I was also invited. I was recently became single and was not interested in him. However, as we kept hanging out as friends, we became very fond of each other. I would always ask if Jerry was going to be there before agreeing to come out. Later I found out that he was also doing the same! Jerry eventually got the courage to ask me out to dinner one day.
What do you two enjoy together?
We enjoy travelling together! We have been to a lot of places since we got together; from Mexico, Hawaii, Japan, China, Hong Kong, and the US, we enjoy our little adventures together. Our most memorable adventure would have to be in Maui, Hawaii. We rented a car for that week and drove all around the island to experienced everything.
Please tell us a bit of your love story.
It is funny how fate has put us together as we never met each other our entire life up until 4 years ago. We went to the same university, ate at the same places, know the same group of friends, played the same sports throughout high school, and Jerry even volunteered as a leader for my (Kimberly’s) Scouts Canada Division which I was a scout when I was a kid! We must have in passing bumped into each other before but we never said hi. It was only when we were introduced at a party then we started talking.
