Eka had always been “the guy with the camera.” However, when it was time for college, his parents encouraged him to pursue a more practical degree. He chose nursing, despite his heart leaning toward something more creative. While working as a nurse, Eka also embraced his passion for photography on the side, working as a freelance photographer.
Everything changed when Eka met Gusmank, a renowned photographer. After reviewing Eka’s portfolio, Gusmank recognized his natural talent and saw great potential in his vibrant, intimate style of photography. Gusmank still manages the pre-wedding consultations and post-processing, but Eka is there on the big day, delivering fun, kind, and polite service—exactly how clients describe him. My husband and I took our honeymoon in Bali back in October of 2019. We obviously wanted to capture our honeymoon but more importantly wanted to capture the beauty of Bali. I looked up honeymoon photographers in Bali and came across Gusmank Photography. I fell in love with his pictures. The picture, color, quality, areas that were photographed beautiful!!! Gusmank was quick to reply to my emails and made sure I was taken care of. Gusmank did let me know that he was already booked on the date I wanted but let me know one of his team photographers would be available and that they are well trained to capture the same quality of photos as Gusmank. On the date of our shoot, we met Eka, he was very punctual and super nice! Eka made us very comfortable and it felt like we had known him a while. He took us to many spots around the Rice Fields where we captured beautiful photos! He spent more time with us than what we paid for and captured so many shots. We found Gusmank through his Instagram and website, and after an initial conversation over email, we booked an engagement half-day shoot with his colleague Eka in June 2022. We are more than happy with the entire process and end results! Gusmank was very communicative with details in the weeks leading up to the shoot, and scheduled the makeup team and Eka, who were both punctual. Eka was very fun and easy to work with, and made us feel comfortable right away. The photoshoots at two locations went extremely smoothly, and Gusmank delivered the final edited photos much much earlier than expected. What a nice surprise! The photos are truly gorgeous, and we are so thankful to Eka and Gusmank for capturing this special day. Would highly recommend working with them!!
