As you read on my previous blog, In 2023, I had the honor of serving as an educator and speaker for AMV Retreats, a fine art photography workshop led by worldwide event planner Amanda Virga and attended by a community of passionate photographers. On the first day of the retreat, we created a Tirtha Bridal Bali wedding editorial with the entire team and guest speakers, including internationally acclaimed photographers Sophie Kaye and Kir Tuben.
The group was divided into two smaller teams so each attendee could spend more time shooting with our model and fully explore creative possibilities. This setup allowed participants to experiment with different compositions, lighting, and storytelling techniques while working with real wedding-style design elements. It was a truly inspiring session brought to life by many talented vendors and collaborators.
The editorial was a dream to be part of, filled with thoughtful styling, beautiful details, and strong collective energy from photographers eager to learn and create. The setting, the team, and the creative atmosphere combined to make this one of the most memorable workshop shoots of the year, offering a rich learning experience for everyone involved.
