This Bali ocean view picnic surprise proposal captured the romantic moment when Po proposed to Eunice at Balangan Beach. We love the concept of a picnic proposal — who wouldn’t? A picnic surprise creates a relaxed and joyful atmosphere with thoughtful details, making it a truly unique way to ask “the big question.”
Po reached out to me ahead of their Bali trip to plan the perfect spot for his proposal. After discussing several options, we chose Balangan Beach. This scenic clifftop location offers a breathtaking ocean view and a peaceful, private setting that felt just right for their special moment.
For their setup, we prepared a large, comfortable pink blanket to sit on, along with croissants and fresh fruit — a delightful and light picnic arrangement that added to the relaxed feel of the session.
Since Po booked a half-day couple session, we continued the photoshoot afterward at Alila Uluwatu. By late morning, the sunlight was quite bright, creating warm and vibrant lighting for the couple’s images. Po wore a simple white shirt and light brown pants that looked both stylish and comfortable, while Eunice chose a flowing terracotta-colored dress that complemented the surroundings beautifully. The outfits were perfect for a session filled with moments of relaxation and enjoyment at Alila Uluwatu.
