In the heart of Ubud, where the river runs gently and the evening light plays tricks on the water, Christian had a plan. Not just an ordinary plan, but the kind of plan that starts with a bit of mischief and ends with a forever kind of love.
They arrived at the restaurant dressed in white, reflecting the carefree spirit of a holiday. Bianca, unaware of the scheme unfolding, thought it was just another beautiful evening in Bali.
But then, the restaurant staff appeared with a surprise. “You’ve been selected for a complimentary photoshoot at the resort,” they said, as if this sort of thing happened all the time.

Bianca’s gasp was soft, the kind that comes when something you’ve only dreamed of suddenly becomes real. “Yes.” The word was barely out of her mouth before the tears came, followed by laughter, giddy, breathless, full of love. Christian stood, slipping the ring onto her finger.
They sat down to dinner by the river, the ring catching the last light of the day, a tiny spark of promise on her finger. They talked, they laughed, they marveled at how he had managed to keep it all a secret.
