The day began in the tropical garden villas, surrounded by lush greenery and soft natural light. Shannon and her bridesmaids enjoyed a calm morning, barefoot on the grass, letting the island atmosphere set the tone. Nothing felt rushed. Everything felt easy.
Their beachside ceremony took place directly on the sand, with ocean and cliffs creating a stunning natural backdrop. Guests gathered under white umbrellas while the sea breeze moved gently through the space. Shannon walked down the aisle holding their child, making the ceremony deeply personal. After vows and celebration, the evening continued with a joyful reception by the beach. As sunset faded into night, the energy shifted from emotional to festive, with laughter, speeches, and dancing carrying on until late.
Because Lembongan is an island separate from mainland Bali, our team stays one night when photographing a wedding here. The last boat from Bali to Lembongan departs around 5 PM, while receptions often continue until 10 PM or later. Staying overnight ensures we can document the entire celebration without rushing and be fully present from preparation until the final moments of the night.
