Amandari has always been one of my favorite resorts in Ubud — not only because of its stunning architecture and timeless Balinese spirit, but also for a deeply personal reason that connects me to this place in a unique way.
Years ago, when my girlfriend’s mother was expecting, her father worked on the landscaping project of Amandari. They both fell in love with the name and the peaceful energy of the resort. Inspired by its beauty, they named their daughter Angendari — a name that carries the soul of “Amandari” within it.
So, returning here to photograph Krupesh and Manali’s Amandari Ubud surprise proposal felt incredibly special to me. It was like coming full circle — from the stories I’ve heard growing up to witnessing love blossom in the same place.
Krupesh planned a private dining experience overlooking the lush Ayung Valley. The atmosphere was intimate and romantic, with candlelight flickering against Amandari’s stone walls and wood carvings — each design detail preserving the authentic Balinese charm that makes this resort so unique.
When the moment came, Krupesh got down on one knee and proposed. Manali, looking stunning in her red dress, said yes with tears of joy in her eyes. The color of her dress contrasted beautifully with the soft golden light of sunset, creating an elegant and passionate visual harmony that perfectly reflected their love story.
Amandari has a way of making moments feel timeless — and this proposal was no exception. The gentle sound of nature, the glow of candles, and the emotion between them made it one of the most memorable evenings we’ve ever captured.
If you’re dreaming of an Amandari Ubud surprise proposal, this magical resort offers not only privacy and authenticity, but also a deep connection to Bali’s heritage — where every stone, every flower, and every moment tells a story of love.
