Tassia and Domi met in New York City. Tassia was doing her Master’s degree and Domi was working as an intern. The couple was in a long distance relationship for more than four years before they decided to become man and wife. “We asked Gusmank to take a lot of candid, happy pictures with a lot of action shots of the people we love and of us, on this special day,” said Tassia.
The beachfront venue was a spectacular backdrop to the joyful wedding. From the beginning, Tassia and Domi’s apparent joy were just beautiful to capture. The bride and groom were dressed in Javanese kebaya and beskap, followed by a blessing ceremony and intimate vow exchange. Witnessed by both of their parents, closest family and friends who flew from all over the world; Tassia and Domi’s ease and devotion to each other was a pleasure to shoot.
After sunset, the newlyweds changed their outfit. Tassia showed up in a chic white jumpsuit and thoroughly ready to dance and have fun. The parents of the bride started the reception with a dance, closely followed by the groomsmen and bridesmaids, and then the couple themselves. Fun, dance and laughter were the essence of the celebration. Speeches and stories were shared by the couple’s closest friends before the entire guests went to the dance floor and had a memorable time with the new husband and wife.
