Pandawa Cliff Estate as Your Bali Wedding Venue

On the southernmost edge of Bali’s Bukit Peninsula, high above the Indian Ocean and the white sands of Pandawa Beach, yet less than 30 minutes from the airport, lies the magnificent Pandawa Cliff Estate, designed by internationally acclaimed Bali architect, Popo Danes.

Venue Setting

Peaceful and private, situated at the end of a winding country lane on Bali’s southernmost tip, Pandawa Cliff Estate is a hidden paradise overlooking the Indian Ocean from its enchanting clifftop setting.

The Pala boasts a unique, stone amphitheatre where guests can be entertained with a traditional dance or musical performance, and its garden links through to those of neighboring Villa Rose and Markisa, allowing separate areas for cocktails, dining and dancing for up to 400 guests. Villa Markisa’s cliff-edge master bedroom with private pool is a dream bridal suite, and its ocean view garden is the perfect setting for sunset nuptials.

The estate’s four villas, The Pala, Villa Rose, Villa Marie and Villa Markisa offer a total of 21 bedrooms. This, coupled with the superbly landscaped clifftop gardens, extensive decked areas, huge team of professional yet personable staff and purpose-designed guest facilities, make Pandawa Cliff Estate a wedding and special event venue par excellence. The villas also share a sports centre with full-size tennis court, squash court, gym and spa.

Favorites Spots to Photograph

The Pala is the largest area of this estate. I love to shoot at the coconut garden in the front of this villa. It give you the tropical feel with a huge turquoise Balinese door in the background.
When we talk about doors, Pandawa Cliff Estate has a lot of good options of doors, each of the villa has it unique doors design, so you won’t run out of options.

The Balinese gate in front of the parking area is also one of my favourite spot to shoot. It’s definitely my trump card to add the Destination Bali elements in the photos.
