Ujung Water Palace or Taman Ujung

About Ujung Water Palace or Taman Ujung

Ujung Water Palace, also known as Ujung Park or Taman Ujung, is a stunning water palace located in the eastern part of Bali, near the town of Amlapura, Karangasem. Ujung Water Palace was built in the early 20th century by the king of Karangasem, and it served as a retreat for royalty and a venue for important ceremonies. The architecture combines Balinese, European, and Chinese influences, featuring ornate pavilions, bridges, and pathways set amidst lush gardens and ponds. Marvel at the intricate water features found throughout the palace, including ornamental ponds, cascading waterfalls, and stone-carved sculptures. The highlight is the grand central pool, which is flanked by elegant pavilions and connected by arched bridges.
