Sanur Temple

About Sanur Temple

It’s said that in Bali, there are more temples than there are houses. Some estimates are even as high as 50,000, in fact. While this may be hard to believe at first, it doesn’t take much time on the island to notice that temples are literally everywhere. This Sanur temple is one of my favourite location after an earlier session in Sanur Beach. This family owned temple perhaps has the best architectural among all the Sanur temples. The white craved stones dominated the temple’s architecture make a great backdrop for photoshoot. You can’t enter the main parts of the temple, unless you wearing a Balinese sarong but the spacious courtyard surrounding it provides clear views of the interior from many different angles. Best timing to shoot here is in the morning at 8am or afternoon at 2-3pm.
